Apply for a BIPOC Scholarship

  • BIPOC Scholarships are open to any person identifying as black/indigenous /a person of color ("BIPOC") who is interested in attending one of the listed Sexological Bodywork® certifying institutes.

* For the Institute for the Study of Somatic Sex Education (ISSSE, Canada), we do not presently offer funds for the introductory Core Course 1, but do for their further Courses. Please apply using this form for each subsequent Course you seek funds for.

  • The Board meets to make decisions about applications on a quarterly basis. In 2026 these are planned for the end of January, April, July, and October board meetings. Please expect to wait until after we meet to make a decision. Any scholarship funds would be sent to your school of choice.

  • BIPOC scholarship funds are not transferable to another student

  • If a student does not attend the program for any reason after the scholarship funds have been dispersed and before the program has started, we ask the school to return the scholarship funds to the ACSB

  • If a student defers to a later start date after the scholarship funds have been dispersed, we ask the school to return the scholarship funds to the ACSB, unless the timing of the ACSB scholarship disbursement itself was the reason for the deferment. The ACSB cannot guarantee the same level of scholarship funding in future disbursements to the same individual for different courses
