Apply for an Accessibility Fund Grant

The fund is for ACSB Professional Members only.

The Accessibility Fund is created out of the acknowledgement that we will serve the profession better if the access needs of ourselves, our clients, and our communities, are met. 

Because the world and awareness are rapidly changing, so too are our perceptions of what “warrants” an access need.

We invite all of us to ponder what we and our communities might be capable of if accommodations were made for our diversity.

Quarterly, the ACSB will fund a one-time grant of up to $500 USD from an ACSB Professional Member for the following reasons:

• You are currently experiencing a disabling event that prevents you from being able to work enough to pay your bills

• You would like to get your workplace outfitted with accessibility gear. This could be anything from installing a ramp to a new massage table. This also applies to gear needed to make your practice accessible to you, be it a different chair or blackout curtains

• You are seeking funds for a research or a community offering related to disability

The Board meets quarterly to make decisions about applications to the Accessibility Fund. In 2026 these are planned for Board meetings the end of January, April, July, and October. Please apply before these times and expect to wait until after we meet for a final decision.
